1 February 2012 - Three new children have started at our preschool. We are slowly growing and very happy to welcome new faces in our daily activities.

4 January 2012 - Montessori International Preschool has moved to VILLA MONTESSORI, located at: Søndermarksvej 13, 2500 Valby.
We are so pleased to finally be at our permanent location and to be able to accept more children at the preschool.

7 November 2011 - We signed the lease for the house in Valby where we will be moving to in January 2012! We are so happy to have a new home where we are planning to stay for the long term. Things are looking great.

3 October 2011 - We have welcomed our 7th child today, which is the limit given by the kommune due to the temporary nature of our preschool at the moment. Once we find a permanent location (hopefully a house in Frederiksberg), then we will be able to accept more children and get to full capacity quickly. We have already started a waiting list and registrations keep on coming in! We are thrilled by the interest we have received so far by so many parents. It means that we must be doing something right! And we are enjoying it all at the same time, what else could we ask for?

2 Sept 2011 - Montessori International Preschool opens at Storm Petersens Vej 6 in Frederiksberg. We are so pleased to have a place of our own.
17 Aug 2011 - Montessori International Preschool open its doors for the first time. We are located at Isabelle's place in Frederiksberg. We have 3 sweet little girls with us.

5 July 2011 - Still no approved building for Montessori International Preschool
After over 5 months of planning permission application, we still do not have the planning permit for the house that we found for the preschool. And we do not even know if we will get it at all! This is regrettable as we still have no guarantee of where the preschool will be located. Although we are hoping to have a central Copenhagen address, it is proving to be extremely difficult due to municipality regulation. This might explain the lack of preschools and b¢rnehave in central Copenhagen!
For now, we will welcome the first children at Isabelle's home in Frederiksberg so that we can start the preschool while actively searching for other possibilities of location. This simply reduces the number of children we can start with but it definitely does not deter us from making this project a reality!

Spring 2011 - Montessori International Preschool featured in ABAKADA
Isabelle Valentine is half-Filipino and she is a member of Babaylan, which is an association that seeks to improve the situation of Filipino women in Danish society.
ABAKADA is their quarterly magazine that compiles news and stories.

15 March 2010 - Montessori International Preschool at City Hall Event
Montessori International Preschool was introduced for the first time to the public - it was one of the projects exhibiting at the "Q-Entrepreneur Award of the Year," presented by the Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, Frank Jensen, at the Copenhagen City Hall.

It was part of the Q-Entrepreneurs initiative which was launched in 2009 to spread entrepreneurship among international women in Copenhagen.
