Our requirements for children to be admitted at the preschool are:

• children must be at least 2.5 years old
• children must be completely toilet-trained (no more nappies/diapers and able to ask when they need to go to the toilet)
• children may remain at the preschool until they are 6 years old
• the registration fee is due with your child's registration form.

REGISTRATION FEE

The registration fee covers all administrative costs in order to welcome your child to the preschool. This fee is refundable up to one month before the starting date of your child.

Registration Fee: DKK 2,750

Please transfer this amount to the following bank account: Reg nr. 8401 - Account Nb: 1153933 (Please include your child's name with the transfer).

The registration fee guarantees a place on the waiting list and it is due with your child' s registration form. We will confirm later if the child has a confirmed place at the preschool.

Tuition Fee 

The monthly tuition fee is:

• DKK 9,800 for children from 2.5 to 3 years old
• DKK 8,250 for children over 3 years old

The tuition fee is due every 28th day of the month to cover the following month's tuition. Payment should be done by bank transfer.

Municipality Subsidies

Parents can claim municipality subsidies if their child attends Montessori International Preschool, which means that you can claim money from your local municipality in order to help you cover the tuition fee at our preschool.

Here are the subsidies in 2011:

Copenhagen Municipality:

• DKK 6,510 for children under 3 - the parental share of tuition is therefore: DKK 3,290
• DKK 4,056 for children over 3 - the parental share of tuition is therefore: DKK 4,194

Frederiksberg Municipality:

Leaving the Preschool

Please give two months' notice before your child leaves the preschool. This is to give us time to prepare for a goodbye party for your child and for the welcome of the new child who will be joining us. 

TAKING TIME OFF / HOLIDAY

If a child takes some time off from the preschool or goes away on holiday, the full fee is still due otherwise the child loses his/her place at the preschool.

Please make sure that you inform us when the child will be absent so that we can organise ourselves accordingly.

Opening Hours

Montessori International Preschool is open from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Monday to Friday. 

Health and Safety Regulations 

A no smoking policy is applied.

We will do our best so that all staff will have the First Aid Certification.
