Nolwenn is the Head Montessori Teacher at the Valby preschool. Nolwenn is half-French and half-Cambodian and she lives in Malmö with her Swedish partner Jonas. She has an American Montessori Society (AMS) Certificate in Early Childhood Education as well as a Masters degree in American and British Civilization, Literature and Translation. She worked at a Montessori school in Beijing from 2010 to 2014 as a Montessori Teacher. She started working at the Frederiksberg preschool in October 2014 and was the Lead Montessori Teacher there until it was sold in 2025.

Nolwenn has been with us since October 2014 and moved to the Valby preschool in August 2025.

Carmen is a Montessori Teacher at the Valby preschool. She is South African and moved to Denmark with her parents and brother in 2008. She now lives in Copenhagen with her Danish husband Morten and their son Liam (born in December 2022). She has been working with children since 2011 and she completed her International Baccalaureate (IB) at Nørre Gymnasium in Copenhagen. Carmen was a Teacher Assistant with us for 6 years and she completed her Montessori Teacher training in July 2022.

Carmen started working with us in January 2016. She is now on maternity leave until August 2026.

Alicia is a Montessori Teacher at our Valby preschool. She is American and she moved to Copenhagen in summer 2024 with her daughter Emma (born in 2016). She has an American Montessori Society (AMS) Certificate in Early Childhood Education as well as a Master in Education degree. She has worked at Montessori schools in Prague and Frankfurt.

Alicia started working with us in April 2025.

Lowell is an Assistant at the Valby preschool. He is Canadian and moved to Copenhagen in 2016 with his Canadian wife Barbara and their son Antimo (born in 2015). He has worked in retail and in pharmaceuticals in Montreal and has a Bachelors in Exercise Science. He completed his AMI Montessori 3-6 Assistants Certificate in 2021. He has also completed his certificate in Montessori Sports in July 2025.

Lowell started working with us in October 2017.

Lauren is an Assistant at the Valby preschool. She is American and moved to Copenhagen in 2018 with her American husband Patrick. They have a girl, Kira, who was born in November 2022. She has a Bachelors in Communications and worked in Human Resources and Recruitment for 12 years. She completed her AMI Montessori 3-6 Assistants Certificate in 2021.

Lauren started working with us in September 2020.

Luz is the Kitchen Chef at the Valby preschool. She is from Panama and she has lived in Copenhagen since 2017 with her Danish husband Jannik and her son José Luis (born in 2007).

Luz started working with us in January 2021.

Filipa is an Assistant at the Valby preschool. She is Portuguese and moved to Copenhagen in 2016. She has a degree in Architecture and Design and worked in photography as well as in performance - dancing, acting and singing.

Filipa started working with us in October 2024.

Julieta is an Assistant at the Valby preschool. She is from Argentina and she moved to Copenhagen with her Argentinian partner in 2024. She worked in a Montessori school in the past and she has an English Teaching Bachelor's Degree.

Julieta started working with us in September 2025.

Hugo is an Assistant at the Valby preschool. He worked as an Assistant at the French school, Lycée Prins Henrik in the kindergarten section. He is working at the preschool during his gap year and will start his studies in 2026.

Hugo started working with us in August 2025.
