Nolwenn is the Head Montessori Teacher at the preschool. She holds an American Montessori Society (AMS) Early Childhood Credential and a Master’s degree in American and British Civilization and Literature. Following her experience teaching at a Montessori school in Beijing, Nolwenn joined the preschool in 2014. In addition to leading the Bamboo classroom, she serves as a Field Consultant for the International Montessori Training Institute (IMT) and as an AMS Montessori Teacher Educator, supporting the professional development of future Montessori educators.

Nolwenn has been with us since October 2014 and moved to the Valby preschool in August 2025.

Carmen is a Montessori Teacher at the preschool. She is South African and moved to Denmark with her parents and brother in 2008. She now lives in Copenhagen with her Danish husband, their son (born in 2022) and their daughter (born in 2025). She has been working with children since 2011 and she completed her International Baccalaureate (IB) at Nørre Gymnasium in Copenhagen. Carmen was a Teacher Assistant with us for 6 years and she completed her Montessori Teacher training in July 2022.

Carmen started working with us in January 2016.

Lowell is an Assistant at the preschool. He is Canadian and moved to Copenhagen in 2016 with his Canadian wife and their son (born in 2015). He has worked in retail and in pharmaceuticals in Montreal and has a Bachelors in Exercise Science. He completed his AMI Montessori 3-6 Assistants Certificate in 2021. He has also completed his certificate in Montessori Sports in July 2025.

Lowell started working with us in October 2017.

Lauren is an Assistant at the preschool. She is American and moved to Copenhagen in 2018 with her American husband. They have a girl, who was born in November 2022. She has a Bachelors in Communications and worked in Human Resources and Recruitment for 12 years. She completed her AMI Montessori 3-6 Assistants Certificate in 2021.

Lauren started working with us in September 2020.

Luz is the Kitchen Chef at the preschool. She is from Panama and she has lived in Copenhagen since 2017 with her Danish husband and her son (born in 2007).

Luz started working with us in January 2021.

Julieta is an Assistant at the preschool. She is from Argentina and she moved to Copenhagen with her Argentinian partner in 2024. She worked in a Montessori school in the past and she has an English Teaching Bachelor's Degree. Julieta is training to become a Montessori Teacher.

Julieta started working with us in September 2025.

Emily is an Assistant at the preschool. She is Irish and she moved to Copenhagen in 2026. She has a degree in Italian and Spanish translation. She worked in international schools in Spain as well as in business development and recruitment.

Emily started working with us in August 2026.

Erwan is an assistant at the preschool. He is French and he mostly grew up in Denmark. He has a degree in business and he is on his sabbatical year before he continues his studies in 2027.
